Pound Cake from Scratch

  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1/2 cup of oil
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tablespoon of Vanilla

Mix all ingredients together and pour into a 9×13 baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Serve with fresh fruit! So stinking simple, and so good!

This is my most simple, yet super yummy, go-to recipe for pound cake. It is moist, but still cakey, and can be divided or doubled easily. It was a favorite of mine growing up, and now it’s my kid’s favorites too! It has saved me many times, because it can be “whipped up” quickly and uses ingredients you have on hand!

You can tell this is a “well loved” recipe in our house!
