FARM SCHOOL IS NOW OPEN!
What exactly is farm school?
We always say, the farm is one of the best places for learning, so we are opening our farm for a chance for your kids to experience nature and farm life too! Not only will they learn about plants, gardening, nature, animals, and farm life, but they will have fun doing it! We will meet each Thursday during the month of October from 3:30-6 PM. We will have a focused lesson each week with hands on activities, crafts, snacks, plenty of fresh air, play and games. What’s a better way to spend the afternoon than on the farm?!

With a lifelong love for the farm, gardening, plants, and nature, she has incorporated them into her family’s learning and looks forward to sharing that love and knowledge with the kids at farm school this year!
Josie Holt, is our artist, crafter, and animal lover. She will be assisting in all the nature and flower crafts as well as animal care demonstrations.
Andrew Holt, is our budding carpenter and loves the woods. He will be assisting with our tree identification, nature walks, and animal care demonstrations.
Libby Holt, is our food lover. She will be making and assisting with all the snacks, as well as the gardening units.
*Please read all the following before signing up for farm school as orders are non-refundable.
*Once you register your child, you will receive an email with forms to fill out such as a risk release wavier, medical and emergency information, etc.
Parents will be responsible for getting their children to the farm. Local children may ride the bus to the farm, but again, parents are responsible for getting that change made at the school. We will assist you in whatever way we can, but it will be your final responsibility. We cannot do pickups. Drop offs will start at 3:00 and all children need to be on the farm by 3:45 at the latest, unless otherwise agreed upon by parent and HFF. Our studies will be about nature, science, and life cycles. These will be taught from a Christian worldview with God the Creator of all things. This is a drop off program, and even encouraged to be so, but parents are always welcome as long as they give prior notice ahead of time that they will be staying. Bad or rude behavior will not be tolerated. If bad or rude behavior persist student may be asked to leave or terminate time at the farm with no refund. Examples of bad behaviors could be but aren’t limited to: not listening to adults, putting others in danger with actions, physical violence, or verbal insults to others. There are no make up days for student absences, but we will schedule rain days in the case of inclement weather. All adults have been trained in CPR and first aid.
